We ransomed our dignity to the clouds, and the uncomprehending birds listened. Don’t you see?! We’re actors – we’re the opposite of people!\u201d ~Tom Stoppard<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bitten by the theatre bug in 1965 when I appeared as \u201cFather Time\u201d in Maeterlinck\u2019s “The Bluebird<\/em>,\u201d I\u2019ve been a working actor on stage and on camera for fifty years. I\u2019m also a stage director. <\/p>\n I\u2019ve been a producer, an acting teacher, and an Artistic Director. In 2007, I founded the Icicle Creek New Play Festival and spent eleven years developing new plays for the American theatre.<\/p>\n I debuted on Broadway in Les Miserables<\/em> in 1991. In thirty years in New York City, I appeared in eight Broadway shows, and a dozen off-Broadway shows. I shared an Emmy Award for my contribution to Sondheim\u2019s Passion<\/em> (in which I played Patti Lupone\u2019s cousin). I toured opposite Petula Clark in Sunset Boulevard<\/em>, and was featured in multiple national tours. And I’ve played well over 200 roles in regional theatres across the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cActors are agents of change.
