Initially I was hired to be the rehearsal pianist\/music director for this 2008 production of THE IMAGINARY INVALID.\u00a0 Early in the rehearsal process the sound designer\/composer asked me if I would take over as composer for the show. \u00a0The plan was for me to write some incidental music and some songs that would be compatible with the original score by Marc-Antoine Charpentier.\u00a0 Some of Charpentier\u2019s music would remain in the show.
