Having transitioned from singing to voiceovers, I found a satisfying, creative and lucrative way to use my voice, while still implementing what I had learned as a singer- The necessity of rhythm, pitch, phrasing, breath, nuance and emotional point of view. For me, it\u2019s about more than standing in front of a mic and selling something. It\u2019s about coming across as authentic and personal and most of all, meaning what I say. I have not followed the path that so many of my fellow actors have~ I have always felt more at home in a studio or on a mic. I like the intimacy of it. I like telling a story with my voice. I also have to say, I somewhat like the anonymity of it. As I\u2019ve evolved, I have found that I don\u2019t need to be shouting what I feel from the rooftops. Rather, I prefer to bring the listener in.<\/p>\n
