She is also a member of SAG-AFTRA. She has been working in the performing arts since her early childhood.<\/p>\n<p>Her first Broadway debut was in 1962 in <em><strong>I Can Get It For You Wholesale<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0as part of the ensemble, and most notably as an understudy for Barbra Streisand and Bambi Linn. Other Broadway credits include: <b><i>The Prisoner of Second Avenue<\/i><\/b>\u00a0and <em><strong>Show Me Where The Good Times Are<\/strong><\/em><em>.<\/em>\u00a0Susan toured all over the East playing Tzeitel in the First National Company production of <em><strong>Fiddler On The Roof<\/strong><\/em>. She played the role of Mrs. McIllehenny in City Center Encores! production of <em><strong>70 Girls 70<\/strong><\/em>. She worked in two Off-Broadway Drama Desk nominated plays: <em><strong>Falling<\/strong><\/em> (2012) and Transport Group\u2019s\u00a0<em><strong>I Remember\u00a0Mama<\/strong><\/em> (2014). Susan played the role of Maude in the Off-Broadway Musical, <em><strong>Harold &amp; Maude<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Leads and supporting roles in over 40 professional plays\/musicals include: Fanny in <em><strong>Funny Girl<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0Babe in <em><strong>The Pajama Game<\/strong><\/em>, Annie in <em><strong>Annie Get Your Gun<\/strong><\/em>, Carrie in <em><strong>Carousel<\/strong><\/em>, Marian in <em><strong>The Music Man<\/strong><\/em>, Winnifred in <em><strong>Once Upon A Mattress<\/strong><\/em>, Mammy Yokum in <em><strong>Li&#8217;l Abner<\/strong><\/em>, Smitty in <em><strong>How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying<\/strong><\/em>, Irma in <em><strong>Irma La Douce<\/strong><\/em>, Reno in <em><strong>Anything Goes<\/strong><\/em>, Meg in <em><strong>Brigadoon<\/strong>,<\/em>\u00a0and<em>\u00a0<\/em>Jack\u2019s Mum in <em><strong>Into The Woods<\/strong><\/em>. She also sang and danced in many revues and cabarets all over the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Roles on television soap operas include:\u00a0<em><strong>All My Children<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0<em><strong>Ryan&#8217;s Hope<\/strong>,<\/em> and <em><strong>As The World Turns<\/strong>. <\/em>She played a \u201cgentle folk\u201d senior dancer in Disney\u2019s <em><strong>Enchanted<\/strong><\/em>, and also\u00a0appeared on the 2008 Academy Awards in the performance for <em><strong>Enchanted<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0nominated song, \u201cThat\u2019s How You Know.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Susan directed projects in NYC for <em><strong>Circle Reparatory<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>The Woman\u2019s Project<\/strong><\/em>, and\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Women\u2019s Interart<\/em>. She also directed for the\u00a0<em><strong>Allenberry Playhouse<\/strong><\/em> in Pennsylvania and\u00a0<em><strong>Capital Repertory<\/strong><\/em> in Albany, New York.<\/p>\n<p>She trained to direct with Mike Nichols and Herbert Berghof, and trained\/directed on <em><strong>All My Children<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(ABC) and<b><i>\u00a0Texas\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(NBC). She trained in acting with Alvina Krause, Uta Hagen, and Austin Pendleton.<\/p>\n<p>Susan holds a BS in Theater from Northwestern University.
