If you have video that needs to be converted, you can use free sites/programs like handbrake or QuickTime Player (for Mac, for Windows).
You may also find it useful to edit with Kapwing, a free website, that also offers converting video files.
Please note: With QuickTime Player, you can also do tasks like separate audio and video, split footage, and crop.
