This is one of two theaters in Vienna, Austria that produces plays performed in English. The theater was founded in 1963 and has attracted a roster of stage & screen personalities. Among them Joan Fontaine, Anthony Quinn, Horst Buchholz, Siobhan McKenna, Judi Dench, Jeanne Moreau, Jean Paul Belmondo and a host of others.

Our director Gavin Cameron-Webb who is a friend of the theater’s artistic director Julia Schafranek, told her about what a hit we were in Buffalo and she invited us to do the play at her Theater in Vienna.
The Viennese didn’t get the “ Goomba” references and humor of the play and they didn’t laugh out loud at much of the plays wacky humor, which was a let down after the raucous laughter we got in Buffalo, New York a couple of years earlier. All being said it was a great two month paid vacation in Vienna and I got to see and experience a lot of wonderful sights and enjoy the delicious food and Viennese Coffee. To sweeten the deal, beside our generous salaries, we were given free housing and a two month pass to an exclusive gym with all of the amenities. “ Was? und das Showbusiness aufgeben"
