Bill Galarno

BILL GALARNO has toiled in theatre and film for 60-plus years, as actor, director, playwright and teacher. He started modestly performing a summer of one-a-week stock in Petoskey, Michigan (his salary was $23 per week, plus room!). He acted his way through Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, where he landed a year's contract with the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Next stop: New York! and National Tours of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, 110 IN THE SHADE, and MOVE OVER MRS. MARKHAM. Broadway credits include CANDIDE, and ABE LINCOLN IN ILLINOIS (with Sam Waterston). He appeared Off-Broadway in ELIZABETH REX
and NATHAN THE WISE. In 2017, he played Cap'n Andy in SHOW BOAT at Florida's Alhambra Theatre, returning home to play Carl Bolton in MORNING'S AT SEVEN off-off-Broadway.
