About the Theatre / Venue / Vehicle | Vanille is a short play that was written for the Lower East Side Festival of the Arts. This same year Chocolat was an award-winning film and Xena Warrior Princess ended its long run on television. My satire is subtitled: Last Great Quest. While her sidekick has already signed a movie deal without her, Xena longs for another quest. When an itinerant peddler has lost the main ingredient for her confections, Xena sees the possibility for action.
