Peter Maloney is an actor, writer and director who has been working in the theater, television and films for over fifty years. He is a member of the Atlantic Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, and the Irish Repertory Theatre. He was a member of Joseph Chaikin’s Open Theater for four years, performing in the U.S. and Europe in that avant garde company’s famous productions of The Serpent, Terminal, Masks, Ubu Cocu and Endgame. Mr. Maloney has appeared in over 60 films, including Washington Square, A Little Romance, Requiem for a Dream, Boiler Room and John Carpenter’s The Thing.  For five years he taught and directed students in the Drama Division of the Juilliard School.  An alumnus of the New Dramatists and  a  life member of the Actors Studio, he regularly moderates sessions of the Studio’s Playwrights/Directors Unit.
