Choices was my first performance outside of LaMaMa. Nancy Gabor the director was looking for an actor for her production of Choices. The play was written by Sidney Grimsley and developed in a prison theatre workshop. I auditioned and joined the cast in 1977. We performed in several theatres off broadway as well as a college tour, and a New York State prison tour. Nancy had been a member of The Open Theatre and used several exercises developed by Joseph Chaiken in our rehearsal process.
