Session Breakdown

No formal session structure.

Professionals work on conceptualizing their site as well as start working on the Grid, Highlights, Media, and The About Page.

If working with an intern/assistant/working partner, they can and should help with any questions and delegation of tasks that is appropriate to the previously discussed work and compensation agreement between Professional and them.

Prep Work
  • Revisit the About Page now that you’ve worked on your site more. If you want, rewrite your About Page and add additional media to it if that better serves your conceptualizing.
    • Make sure you have an enticing intro to yourself. At minimum your About Page should include your bio and/or narrative introduction plus a headshot.
  • Look through other Professionals’ sites. Notice things some customizing elements like the About Page (Ron Nakahara), banner (André De Shields), keywords (Casey Childs), Mapping the Legacy chapters (Maxine Glorsky), Highlights categories (Beverly Emmons), Highlights timelines (Gilda Mirós), and Highlights featured images (Casey Childs).
  • Work on completing 1 Highlight and on Mapping the Legacy (goal is to have entered 75 entries).
