Two years prior to this I played the role of Georges in La Cage Aux Folles directed by Ed Gryska at this theater. I had made several friends with cast members and others that I met while doing the run of the show. It was great being back in Salt Lake City and to work at S.L.A.C. again. All of the women and the little boys were the best and it was always a fun time during rehearsals and while doing the show. Ed Gryska was the original producer/director of S.L.A.C. which was his idea and creation. He grew up in Chicago and upon moving to Salt Lake City, started searching around for places to do theatre. He put his heart, soul and talents into it and made daring choices with the plays that he presented. Over the years he gave a lot of work to actors from New York, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. My experience working under an Actors Equity Union contract with both shows was terrific.
