About the Theatre / Venue / Vehicle | Mostly Mercer was the passion project of my long time lawyer and friend, Mark Sendroff (I met Mark when I was working at Once Upon a Stove). He loved Johnny Mercer and wanted to do an album of his favorite Mercer tunes, featuring his clients, including Jim Bailey (as Judy Garland), Kaye Ballard, Rosemary Clooney, Marilyn Cooper, Eydie Gorme, Mimi Hines, Jennifer Holliday, Fran Jeffries, Laura Kenyon, Nancy LaMott, Armelia McQueen, Mary Gordon Murray, Anita O’Day, Mark Sendroff, Henrietta Valor and yours truly. This was a truly fun labor of love. |
