This is a double album recording released on BLUE NOTE RECORDS, Mr. Silvers label for many years. It was his last album on this label. There were four singers on. Gregory Hines, Chapman Roberts, Brends Alford and Carol Maillard. I soloed on Friends and Optimism.
What an incredible honor to be chosen by the great and legendary Horace Silver. I had the opportunity to work with him again as his vocal assistant for a concert called LET THE MUSIC HEAL YOU at Cooper Union Auditorium in 1984, We kept in touch.
