Fritz Bennewitz served as the director of Das Meininger Theatre and also the Director of the Deutsches National Theatre at Weimar. Prior to those positions he was directing Brecht in India, the Philippines, and the United States. He was an incredible man with passion and a love for theatre and he shared his knowledge with joy.
