The collaborative performance work, Black Swans, an opera poem (2018) is the last production presented at The Lighthouse/Studio 5 O 2. I didn’t perceive that this would be so at the time; however, given our 2020 global sea change, it has since occurred to me that my visions for both this open welcoming place and the Black Swans project has been fulfilled.

Unfortunately the footage taken by the hired videographer/photographer was lost and/or damaged. Having had this experience once too many times, I combined my joy of photographing creative processes with an intuitive presence of mind and photo-documented the making of Black Swans, an opera poem; thus the images included here are my own unless otherwise stated.

My home space, The Lighthouse/Studio 5 O 2, now serves primarily as my private studio and where I continue to do my homework: reading, writing, preparing public talks and making work for special performance invitations.

I miss the relationship,–-the devotion and joy of welcoming people to my home, The Lighthouse/Studio 5 O 2. Now I abide in the pause, attuning to this juncture, this arc of human time in 2023–reconfiguring a future.
